This is simply the best program I have purchased for my mobile. It is also hands down the only mobile Chinese dictionary worth using. It allows you to work with pinyin or characters, and to toggle easily between traditional and simplified forms.
The dictionaries are extensive, although I would appreciate more terminology on computers/internet. The flashcards are nice for reviewing when you have time.
Frankly any dictionary which does not allow you to input characters is only of limited use, since sometimes you only have the character, but no idea of the pinyin. With PlecoDict this is no problem (assuming you can figure out the strokes in the character, and sequence is not critical as PD can decipher the correct order from your input).
Overall I cannot imagine how the product could be any better (with a few very minor additions to the dictionaries). It is exceptional value for the money. One of the few programs that is actually well-written and well-documented. Finally the support is outstanding. The author will quickly return personal emails on the most mundane topics, and the forum is also a very useful for tips and advice.
